Welcome to the Keswick Hall

College of Education website.

Keswick Hall, south of Norwich, Norfolk , nestling in beautiful lush parkland, was the educational portal through

which thousands of  aspiring teachers passed en route to becoming school teachers. The building, originally the property of the Gurney family, became the home of the former Norwich Teacher Training College from 1948 until enforced closure in 1981.

1969-72 50 year Reunion

Arrangements for the 50 year reunion of the 1969-72 cohort are underway for Saturday May 18th 2019 for all former students who started at Keswick in 1969.

Hopefully the day will commence with a visit to college. During the afternoon we will join the official college annual reunion at Eaton which includes refreshments, followed by an evening get-together (venue to be decided) and meal. Some folk might like to stay over and continue informally the next day.

If you are interested in the weekend please Email Susan Baker at:

lhgheadstart1@icloud.com as soon as possible, so that we can begin to get an idea of numbers.

The next annual reunion, for ALL ex students, will be on 18th May 2019 at St Andrew's Church, Eaton, Norwich. Everyone is invited to the reunion in the church at 2 pm. The Old Students' Club short AGM will follow the service, rounded off with refreshments.
